Blue FPG-A trisodium is a selective antagonist of P2X 1 receptor and P2Y 1 receptor with IC 50 values of 35.5 μM and 2.6 μM, respectively. Blue FPG-A trisodium is a structural isomer of the components of Reactive Blue 2 (RB2) [1] .

Blue FPG-A trisodium (RB 2 para) (1, 3.2, 10, 32 and 100 μM) inhibits the α,β-methylene ATP (α,β-MeATP) induced contraction of the rat vas deferens (RVD) and the adenosine 5′-O-(2-thiophosphate) (ADPβS) induced relaxation of the Carbachol (HY-B1208) precontracted guinea-pig taenia coli (GPTC) [1] .
