Tubulysin A (TubA) is an antibiotic and highly cytotoxic anti-microtubule toxin ( anti-microtubule toxins ) isolated from myxobacteria. Tubulysins are a family of cytotoxic peptides consisting of 9 members (A-I). Tubulysin A has anti-angiogenic, anti-microtubule, anti-mitotic, and anti-proliferative activities. Tubulysin A is also an inducer of apoptosis ( apoptosis ), arresting cells in the G2/M phase, effectively inhibiting tubulin polymerization, and inducing depolymerization of detached microtubules. Tubulysin A is potent cytostatic against multiple tumor cell lines with IC50 in the pmol range. Tubulysin A acts as an ADC cytotoxin ( ADC Cytotoxin ) to synthesize ADC [1] [2] [3] .
