Description

(S)-(-)-Propranolol hydrochloride, the active enantiomer of propranolol, is a antagonist with log Kd values of -8.16, -9.08, and -6.93 for β1, β2, and β3, respectively.

In vitro

Propranolol, a non-selective β1 and β2 adrenergic blocker, has no effect on the proliferation of neonatal mouse cardiac fibroblasts (NMCFs).
