Description
WS3 is a β cell proliferation inducer via modulation of and the pathway.
In vitro
WS3 induces proliferation of the mouse β cell line R7T1 with EC50 of 0.074 μM. WS3 reversibly induces proliferation of primary fetal and adult human retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells.
