4-ArmPEG-SH is a multi-arm PEG derivative. Each end of the four arms of 4-Arm PEG-SH has a thiol group, and its reactive free sulfhydryl group can selectively react with the surface of maleimide and transition metal including gold, silver, etc.
4-ArmPEG-SH is also a reversible PEGylation and PEG hydrogel reagent. PEG-SH in 4-ArmPEG-SH can be well oxidized by air to form disulfide bonds.
