Acrylamide-PEG-Azide (ACA-PEG-N3) is a heterobifunctional PEG derivative comprising an acrylamide group (ACA) and an azide functional group (N3) connected by a PEG linker. The acrylamide group allows for crosslinking or polymerization reactions, making it useful in the preparation of hydrogels or polymer matrices. The azide group enables selective conjugation to molecules containing suitable reactive groups, such as alkynes or strained cyclooctynes, through click chemistry reactions.
