DBCO-PEG-Acrylate is a PEG derivative with a dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) group and an acrylate functional group. The DBCO group enables selective coupling to molecules containing azide groups through strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) click chemistry. The acrylate group allows for further chemical modification, such as polymerization reactions to create hydrogels or coatings, or conjugation to molecules with thiol groups through Michael addition reactions.
